i got invited to spend a day with some FABUlous bloggers!! we had a wonderful day chit chatting about everything from the osmonds to vintage clothing!! did i mention donnie osmond's son brandon was our photographer?? he was pretty amazing & so sweet! his wife shelby put this whole day on for us!!! we had some awesome sponsors too! drumroll please....our wonderful sponsors were...

we spent the morning at mona lisa consignments! the darling owner, helen francom took us on a tour of the entire shop! they had it all!! if you are looking for a vintage dress or amazing furniture for some d.i.y. projects you are in the right place!! this store was so fun & helen hooked us up with lots of fun swag! the store is in american fork & on 53 East Main Street! this shop even had an authentic desk that used to be hitlers!! pretty neat stuff to look at & everything has a story, which i love!!

we had such a YUMMY lunch at this little bakery/cafe! everyone's mouth was watering when we went in there! im pretty sure i wanted to try a little bit of everything, it all sounded so good! i got a turkey avocado sandwich & it was DELICIOUS! everything was so fresh! then they brought us out a tray of some samples of their treats they have! my personal favorite was the chocolate chip cookies, they were perfection!!! & the frosting on the sugar cookies was really good too!! it is for sure a great place to go & have a bit to eat!! it's in american fork, utah, so go & try it if you are close!! :)

kt & kris were soo fun to work with. they are just the most beautiful couple inside & out! you can just see how much kris just loves kt! what a great pair, i am so happy for them! these pictures were taken after the ceremony by mrs. jessica kettle at this is the place state park! it really was a gorgeous location! very simple & elegant! just what kt was going for. if you haven't already notice kt's dad is salt lake's doug wright!! so fun to get to know their family during the planning process, they are so darling!!

so i HAVE to share this amazing video by chris mclain! i really respect him a lot, he is so so talented & so fun to work with. he completely makes you feel at ease behind the camera. i hired david perry films for my wedding & unfortunately david had already booked another wedding for the same day as me so he had chris go in his place! i was a little nervous, just because i didn't know who he was, but boy was i SOOOO happy with the outcome! it was beyond my expectations! our same day edit had my whole bridal party in tears at the reception!! check out more of his work here.

sick of boxes full of chocolate almonds, heart shaped cookie cutters you won't use? well, i just absolutely LOVE the idea of having a vase of a few of your favorite flowers. it not only makes a gorgeous table spread... your friends will have fun picking out which flowers they want to take home. i know that it not a favor i would forget to take home!! fabu tip: try & find old vases from a thrift store or the dollar store. they usually have great selection on glassware. also, google a flower market in your area for discounted flowers, you don't need to buy all hydrangeas look for filler flowers they are usually cheaper & are still beautiful.

so for easter i was in charge of dessert & i brought some yummy cupcakes from sweet tooth fairy! they were a hit, if you haven't tried one of their cupcakes you NEED to! so yummy! my personal favorite was garrets marble, shown in the picture on the left! just talking about these sweets is making me hungry! you can also order some gorgeous cakes for parties or weddings!

so a few weeks ago i was in long beach for a salon/spa expo and had tickets to as some would call it, "the grammys of hair"...it really was! everyone in the hair industry that i have ever wanted to meet was there and i met them all! why is this relevant? well, the party was absolutely amazing! i had to share a few pictures of some of party! you can see some of the lighting and gorgeous centerpieces! it was such a fun night and i got a ton of inspiration for events!
